Using Dies to Accentuate a Shape

Hello and Happy Wednesday! It's Amy here with a Valentine's Day card design. I'm having fun with the January My Monthly Hero add-ons.

I heat embossed the Rose Heart in white on a panel from the Blush Mix Layering Paper pack. Using the Nesting Hearts Infinity Dies accentuates their shape. The sentiment is from the Love Birds Stamp & Cut. The Love is Love Bold Prints was perfect for my design and has been stamped in Wet Cement Mid-Tone Shadow Ink.

I have a huge drawer full of washi tape so I decided to add a strip to my card. Adding the additional Blush strip brings the design all together.

I am happily planning on sending out a bunch of Valentine's Day cards this weekend, how about you?

Calling all those in the Pacific Northwest!

I will be teaching a Hero Arts class at Impress in their Tukwila store on Saturday, February 3rd, 10:00 am - noon. There will be five cards which will all include a new design from the Hero Arts 2018 Catalog. Plenty of prizes and fun, hope you will join us! Please call Impress directly to register.

It can be something as simple as a pocket or something more intricate like a waterfall mechanism or flips. Today, we are going to focus on one of those simple techniques - a pocket!  It’s the perfect technique to dip your toes into the interactive...
