VIDEO: Building a Scenic Drive with the July Card Kit

Hello, everyone! Channin here, and I’m thrilled to be back on the blog! Today, I’m sharing a fun and uplifting card featuring a scenic road trip design made with the July Hero Studio Card Kit.

Check out the video below to see how I build this vibrant scene by combining the On the Road HeroScape and the Let's Go Die Set with creative layering to bring this relaxing drive to life. From the stamped landscape to the dimensional car interior, I’ll walk you through every step. Hope you enjoy!

To create this card I first stamped the landscape with the On the Road HeroScape Stamp Set onto the front of an A2 top-folding white card base. I started by stamping the sky in Arctic and Paradise Core Inks. I then stamped the mountains and ground in Peony, Papaya and Pink Grapefruit Core Inks. Next I stamped the road in Charcoal and INTENS-ified Black Ink.

Once I finished the landscape I then die cut all the parts I needed for the car out of Sicily (included in kit), Coral (included in kit), Peridot (included in kit), Anchor, Raven and the mirrored silver cardstock (included in kit). I then assembled the car and then die cut out the people and their clothing out of Alabaster, Fawn, Seaside, Waterfall (included in kit) and Carrot (included in kit) cardstocks. Next, I assembled the arms and legs and then adhered them to the car interior.

I then adhered the car to the card front and then trimmed off the over hang. Lastly, I finished the card by stamping a sentiment in INTENS-ified Black Ink onto the card front.

I hope you enjoyed my card and video. Thank you so much for stopping by!!
