Chatty Owls

I kind of have a thing for speech bubbles.

Whenever I stamp any critters, I will always look for a way to stick a cute little speech bubble in. The Four Owls stamp set was the starting point for this chatty little card...

I stamped the owls in Mulled Wine, one at at time. Between stamping owls, I colored around the first one with Tumbled Glass and some water, giving the card a little bit of a pattern. I was pretty loose in the placement of the owls, since I was going for a whimsical look. I then added a touch of pink to their "cheeks" for a little more color.

After I had all my owls stamped, I stamped speech bubbles from Thank You Messages, Yes Stamp and Cut, and Holiday Cheer in Charcoal ink, and die cut using the coordinating dies.

The bubbles were adhered to the panel, and I cut the panel down to fit on an A2 card. I'm always running out of thank you cards, so this is a fun and quick design to use. Just change up your critters and colors, and you've got a whole different look!
