Day 1 of Holiday Catalog Peeks (+ Giveaway!)

Hello friends! Today we are excited to kick off our 2022 Handmade for the Holidays Catalog sneak peeks, leading up to the catalog reveal, product launch, and blog hop in just two days. That's right, on Wednesday, August 24 all of the season's newest products will be available at Hero Arts retailers and in our online shop.

Stay tuned to the blog today and tomorrow to preview the newest of the new and enter yourself into our gift card GIVEAWAYS!

Let's get started with a look at a collection that's brand new to Hero Arts. Did someone say "hot foiling"...?

Get ready to add metallic shine and glimmer to your projects with a variety of new Hot Foil plates! Starting with the card on the left, we have the Ornament Border Hot Foil Plate (HF102), which covers an A2 card front and is perfect for sending festive greetings of the season. Did you spy a new die cut sentiment too? Introducing the 5-piece Christmas Words Fancy Dies (DF095) set. It's one of four Fancy Die sentiment sets created in a similar style – you'll be able to mix and match these messages in all sorts of ways to convey your warmest holiday wishes!

The lovely card on the right features another new hot foiling item from page 4 of the catalog, the Wishing Tree Hot Foil Plate (HF104). Simply choose your foil color and cardstock color and you're well on your way to an elegant Christmas card in a matter of minutes! We can't wait to see all of the beautiful combinations you dream up with this plate. The sentiment on this card comes from the new Holly Berries Stamp & Cut XL (DC301), which is packed full of useful sentiments.

Now how about a peek at a couple of the many new clear stamp sets in the catalog...

Holiday Borders and Icons (CM634), shown on the card at left, is a 4" x 6" clear set with a wonderfully fresh, modern feel. With four mix and match sentiments, festive borders and classic holiday icons, this set has you covered when it comes to holiday cardmaking. It's also perfect for decorating envelopes, tags, decorations, and more.

Last but not least, we have the charming Winter Critters (CM650) clear set, featuring a fox, rabbit, hedgehog and owl. The line art images lend themselves to a variety of coloring techniques and also look great simply stamped in the ink color of your choice. Add one of the four included messages and your delightful woodland scene is complete.

Absolutely love the Ornament Border Hot Foil Plate. So far it looks to be a very good release of new products! thanks!

Laurie VanDerLinden,

I’m in love! Hot foiling is quickly becoming one of my top two favorite techniques! I’m thrilled that Hero Arts is stepping into this space and adding hot foiling plates to their already impressive collection. I’m so envious. We just moved cross-country for my husband’s job and his company hasn’t moved our things yet, so all of my crafting items are in two storage units in a state on the other side of the country. I also have breast cancer and I’m desperate to craft to keep my mind and my time busy. My sweet husband ordered me some Copics to help complete my collection, but I’m longing to use them on all of these new items. I’m particularly in love with the Wishing Tree hot foil plate. Great job to the designers!

BA Parkins,

I love the hero arts die and stamp sets! My girlfriend buys them and we make so many cards! i have even used the stamps on my ATC cards.

Elaine Bishop,

Love that Hero Art has foil plates – so beautiful! Thank you for sharing.

Gail Spresser,

Oh my goodness! I love all of them! I just started hot foiling and can’t wait to try the holiday foiling plates! Beautiful!

How to make a Polar Bear Christmas Card with Alcohol Markers
