"Die"-ing to tell you this…

Many of you already know that you can make stamps from your dies. But for those of you that don’t, here’s an easy way!

Foam Flower by Sally Traidman for Hero Arts

I took our hero_product_link sku="DI181" text="Paper Layering Daisy"] and a circle die and cut “stamps” out of children’s foam sheets that you can find in any craft aisle. Then I took my favorite new ink pack - hero_product_link sku="AF348" text="Sally's Tropical Brights"] - and inked them up.

die cutting foam

To make stamping easier, I rolled the "foam stamps" and paper through my die cutting machine. I used watercolor paper to do my stamping on, because it absorbs the inks beautifully. Some extra scraps of paper protected any cutting plates from getting inked up. The thin foam is very impressionable, so you can only use them a few times.

Take any dies you have and TRY IT!! The inks cover the foam easily and you can even hand cut shapes! Amazing what you think of when you are trapped inside with 120 degree weather!!!
