Today I’m sharing a card which features beautiful dies from the 2017 Hero Arts Catalog – the Paper Layering Hummingbird Pair.
I used just one of the pair. I die cut the bird, and then colored with my Copic makers. I love the dimension you can get with paper layering dies, in this case by simply popping out and up portions of the wing.
I wanted a hibicus-like flower for this card, but I didn’t have any – so I colored the Antique Rose Stem in red three times, and trimmed them out to add to my card. The flower centers have some of the new Ombre Sunshine sequins. I love this new birthday sentiment, the font is really fun. The background of the card was stamped with Wood Floor Bold Prints, and the focal point was highlighted with a die cut oval.
