Today we're delighted to have Creative Team member Jayne Nelson here to share some fabulous "beyond the kit" ideas for a few of the add-ons.

Today I’m sharing two produce themed cards that I made with a few of this month’s beautiful add-on stamps. Both of these cards feature the fun Farmer’s Market Pattern Bold Prints background.

For my first card, I started by inking around a panel of Dove White cardstock with six Reactive Inks - Fruit Punch , Creamsicle , Lemon Drop , Green Apple , Splash , and Thistle . Then, I stamped the Farmer’s Market Pattern Bold Prints with Intens-ified Black ink onto the inked panel. Using the same inks mixed with water, I painted some of the food images with a fine paintbrush. After the panel dried, I secured it to a white card base.

For the card’s focal point, I created an embellished sentiment tag. I started by cutting a white tag with a Tag Infinity Die and then I stamped a purple starburst, from the Produce Labels Stamp & Cut XL set, onto the tag. I also stamped, die cut, and colored a beet from the Keep it Fresh Bundle that I secured to the tag with foam tape. Next, I added a punny sentiment from the Farmer’s Market Icons set that I stamped onto a Passion Flower sentiment banner created with the Winter Wishes Bundle . To finish this colorful card, I added a few Neutral Enamel Dots for some shine.

For my second card, I inked across a panel of white cardstock with four Reactive Inks - Creamsicle, Lemon Drop, Green Apple, and Splash. Then, I stamped the Farmer’s Market Pattern Bold Prints background stamp onto the panel with Moss ink and secured it to an Arctic card base.

Using the Produce Labels Stamp & Cut XL set, I stamped and die cut two labels with celebration sentiments, vegetables and confetti. Before securing the labels to the card with foam tape, I die cut the upper left corner from the lower label with the label die and then inset the labels to create a single, large embellishment. Lastly, I added three enamel dots to the finished card.
