Video: Full Panel Shaker with the July My Monthly Hero Kit

Hello, friends! It’s Channin here and today I’m creating a colorful full panel shaker card with the July 2021 My Monthly Hero Kit . A full panel shaker is one of the easiest shaker cards to make, check out my video below to see how!

(If you are having trouble viewing this video, please try watching it HERE on YouTube.)

To create this card first I ink blended a rainbow with blending brushes and Reactive Inks ( Taffy , Creamsicle , Lemon Drop , Key Lime Fizz , Pool Party , Splash , & Thistle ) around a 4 1/4” x 5 7/16” panel of Dove White cardstock. Once I finished ink blending I then stamped a floral frame using several stamps from the kit . I used the same Reactive Inks I used to blend the background and also used partial inking to match the flowers and leaves up with the ombre background.

When I had finished stamping the panel I then stamped two fairies and a sentiment in Intens-ified Black Ink onto a scrap of Dove White cardstock. Next, I Copic colored the fairies and then fussy cut them and the sentiment out.

I then placed the panel into a cellophane bag (5 1/2” x 7 1/4”), filled the bag with the included Stardust Sequin mix and sealed the bag shut. Next, I adhered the shaker panel to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base and lastly I finished the card by adhering the fairies and sentiment to the card front.

I hope you enjoyed my card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Adorable card and loved the new shaker style. I’d seen some of these shakers pockets and wondered how they worked. So cute and loved the blended background.
