Pearl String Bold Prints Card

The Bold Prints cling stamps are such a huge help to create backgrounds for your cards and other projects. The designs are fun and their size is very convenient. Today I am sharing a fun stamped card that I made using the hero_product_link sku="CG688" text="Pearl String Bold Prints"] stamp.

For my project, I wanted to show how pretty this background is, and how fun it can look when you combine it with other products. So, I started by stamping the full background onto a hero_product_link sku="PS610" text="Snow Layering"] card panel. This type of stamp is quite big (6"x6"), so I inked it by parts. I used one of my favorite Ombré ink colors: hero_product_link sku="AF329" text="Neon Chartreuse to Blue"]. First, I inked the upper part of the stamp and then, I rotated the pad to ink the lower part of it. That way the colors seem to be continued. After that, I stamped the image.

I also stamped a sentiment over a piece of Snow layering paper. The sentiment belongs to a stamp set named hero_product_link sku="CL924" text="Hello Gorgeous"]. I created a shadow image by stamping the sentiment twice. First with hero_product_link sku="AF345" text="Intense Black"] ink, and then with hero_product_link sku="AF241" text="Blue Neon"] ink. I moved the stamp a little bit to create the shadow effect. After that, I trimmed the sentiment into a strip with a left angled side.

Next, I proceed to die cut three butterflies over the main panel. These dies belong to a Stamp and Cut set called hero_product_link sku="DC182" text="Butterfly Pair"]. The dies don't cut out the image completely, which makes them very unique. They are quite pretty, and they were just perfect for the sentiment that I used for my card. To finish off my project, I adhered the panel over a card base, I adhered the sentiment strip with foam tape, I added some gemstones, and glaze details over some of the string dots.

I had a lot of fun creating this card, so I made a couple. The background looks so pretty, that know I want to try making more cards using other Ombré ink colors along with other sentiments and die shapes.
