Rainbow Emboss Resist Ink Blending

Hi, Friends! This is Caly! Happy Christmas Eve to all those who are celebrating the holidays! I've created a fun rainbow card using the Crafting Tools Bold Prints background stamp. I love the rainbow - I know some people don't care for it but it really does spark joy for me! Today, I've ink-blended the rainbow over my white-embossed background.

After embossing the image with White Detail Embossing Powder, I started ink-blending my rainbow using Reactive Inks (Fruit Punch, Lemon Drop, Key Lime Fizz, Blue Raspberry, Splash, Grape Slush, Taffy). If you are still on the fence about these inks, hop off! They are beautiful soft, yet vibrant colors and I love them! I ink-blended from the outer edges in knowing I'd cover up the center where the colors meet with a sentiment.

For my sentiment, I stamped and embossed a sentiment from the Crafty Messages stamp set on vellum. I used Versafine Onyx Black ink and used Clear Embossing Powder to contain the mess of using a black embossing powder.

Before adhering, I added some Copic-coloring to the back of the embossed images for some color on the paint tube and paint brush (R05, C4, E25). I wrapped my embossed vellum over my embossed panel and then adhered it to a card base. Super simple and straight forward but I hope you enjoyed it!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful holiday season!
