Rainbow Snowflakes Holiday Card

Good morning! Jess here with my last official blog post as a member of the Hero Arts Creative Team. It's been an amazing ride since 2016 and I'll always have a special place in my heart for Hero Arts! And I'm sure you'll see me around here and there! ;) But anyway, I'm finishing up my time here with a card featuring all my favorites: glitter, sparkle, and rainbows!

To start, I placed the Snowflake Stencil over a panel of Dove White cardstock. Then I blended a rainbow of inks over the stencil using Ultra Pink, Pale Tomato, Tangerine, Dandelion, Green Apple, Aegean, Summer Sky, and Amethyst Core Inks. Next I lifted the stencil and placed it at a slightly offset angle. This time I blended Hero Glitter Paste over the stencil and then set it aside to dry.

While that was drying I die-cut snowflakes from the Large Snowflakes and Swirls Fancy Die Set and an oval from the Nesting Ovals Infinity Die Set using Gold Glitter Paper Holiday Sparkle. I die-cut a second smaller oval with Dove White cardstock and stamped it with the Flowy Season's Greetings woodblock rubber stamp. I stamped it with Watermark & Embossing Ink and heat-embossed it with Gold Glitter Embossing Powder. I adhered the sentiment over the glitter oval. Once the stencil paste was dry I adhered the ovals over the stenciled panel and then added a few snowflakes for an extra sparkly accent!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and thank you for all your support and sweet comments over the years! Have a fantastic week and I'll see you around!

We at Hero Arts are filled with gratitude for the time Jess spent with us. She has been an invaluable member of the Creative Team for many years and has provided endless inspiration, with a dash of sparkle along the way!

Jess, thank you for the beautiful projects that you shared here on the blog, on social media, in our catalogs, and in our Stamp-Along events! You will be missed.

How to make a Polar Bear Christmas Card with Alcohol Markers

Hello, cardmaking friends! It’s Mona Tóth here, and I’m so happy to be back on the Spellbinders blog. Today, I’m sharing a Christmas step-by-step card tutorial featuring the Polar Friends Stamp and Die Set by Simon Hurley. This card was inspired by the Christmas advertisements I remember seeing on television when I was a child in the 1990s. They often featured polar bears surrounded by...

Hello, crafty friend! I’m Adrienne Boese, better known online as Alice Scraps Wonderland. I love a good interactive scrapbook page! It can be something as simple as a pocket or something more intricate like a waterfall mechanism or flips. Today, we are going to focus on one of those simple techniques - a pocket!  It’s the perfect technique to dip your toes into the interactive...
