Sacred Frames

Hi, Friends! It's Caly here and I'm sharing a card using the new Sacred Florals stamp set.

The Sacred Florals set includes different flowers that are framed by dotted shapes. I chose the stamp with the larger anemone flower and then stamped and embossed the image with Gold Embossing Powder.

I colored my flowers with Copic markers (petals: RV52, RV55, RV66; center: Y23, Y38). Then to give the frames some color, I colored only the right sides in the enclosed shapes with C0 and C2.

Once done coloring, I die-cut my image and set it aside to work on the background. I used Berry Smoothie Reactive Ink to ink-blend the center of a blank panel where I wanted to place my image later. To frame my image, I die-cut a wood frame from the Wood Frame Infinity Dies and temporarily placed it on my card to get the right placement for my sentiment before stamping and embossing it in gold as well.

I first attached my wood frame, then my image, both using foam adhesive. Then I added enamel dots from the new Purples Hero Hues Enamel Dots using the lightest of the colors in the set. To give my card and extra element of dimension, I trimmed my panel to attach it to a card base between a layer of craft foam.

I hope you enjoyed this card! Thanks so much for joining me today!
