Foiled Snowflake Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone! Ilina here! I can't believe it's almost Christmas. But we can't forget all of the ones that also celebrate their birthdays during the holiday season. This applies to me too, as my husband, my firstborn and my brother all have December birthdays. So, December is pretty fun around here. ;)

With that in mind, I am sharing a gender neutral card that can be used for winter birthdays, also you can change up the sentiment and use it as a thank you card (for all those gifts you get for the holidays), or even just a holiday or thinking of you card.

To make the card I used the Snowflake Pattern Hot Foil Plate and foiled it with White Satin Foil on piece of Nautical cardstock. Once foiled, I trimmed the cardstock to 3 3/4" x 5" and set it aside.

Die cut "wishes" from the Season Words Fancy Die set three times using Deluxe Smooth White cardstock and stack them up to create a more sturdy and dimensional sentiment.

Stamp "birthday" only using the happy birthday stamp from the Let's Celebrate stamp set on a piece of Nautical cardstock and emboss with White Embossing Powder. Trim to a strip tall enough to fit the die cut sentiment and to 3 3/4" wide. Adhere "wishes". Use a piece of Classic Vellum Layering Paper to add to the back to create more contrast and dimension and to make it pop from the background. (I eyeball the height of the vellum paper; the width is 3 3/4".)

To finish it off, add the sentiment strip to the hot foiled panel and adhere to a Dove White Top Folded Card using foam tape, craft foam or just stacked cardstock pieces to add dimension.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have amazing day!
