Subtle Texture Using Tone-On-Tone Die Cuts

Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today, and I have some super graphic and clean inspiration to share with you using the new Line Art Flowers stamps and coordinating Frame Cuts. I used one background die cut with some selective die cutting to create two different card bases. Let's get started with the details!

Both cards feature the Line Art Flowers stamps and coordinating Frame Cuts, as well as the super versatile Bold Graphic Confetti cover plate die. I began by die cutting the cover plate from white cardstock, then used the Nesting Circles Infinity Dies to cut a circle from the center of the die cut panel.

I stamped the tulips from Line Art Flowers three times using Intens-ified Black ink, then colored them using Copic markers. I adhered the die cut background to a white A2 card front using liquid adhesive, then added a black die cut circle (also cut using the Nesting Circles Infinity Dies from some Pitch Black cardstock using foam adhesive. I added the tulips in the center of the circle and a greeting from Line Art Flowers.

My second card uses the center die cut from the background panel. I stamped a sunflower from Line Art Flowers and colored it using my Copic markers, as well as a "thinking of you" sentiment. I backed the sentiment with a larger rectangle of Pitch Black cardstock, then adhered all of the elements to the white A2 card front using foam adhesive. The final touch was to add some black enamel dots from the Neutrals Enamel Dots.

Well, that's all for my projects today! I love a two-fer. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Awesome cards Emily and speaking with your word, I love a two-fer too!
Great way to use the background die, I have to keep that in mind, it looks gorgeous.
Thank you so much for sharing your inspiration, stay safe and have a wonderful week.

Henriëtte,

The framing and crisp white make these stand out wonderfully.
