Turtley Awesome

Hello there, Michelle here and today I have a card to share using the new Pet Turtle stamp set that was released as an add-on for the March 2019 My Monthly Hero Kit. It is such a cute set and can be used for lots of different occasions.

I started off by stamping a few of the images from the set on to white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I then coloured them with Copic Markers before die cutting with the Pet Turtle Frame Cuts. These were then set aside while I worked on my background.

I took an A2 white card base and blended ink on to it to create a grass and sky scene. I first used Soft Pool for the sky. I applied the ink using an ink blending brush to give a soft appearance. I then added a combination of Green Apple and Fresh Lawn ink for the grass. I took the sentiment from the Pet Turtle set and stamped this on to the sky area, again with Intense Black Ink. The images were then arranged below to create the scene. I used Precision Glue for the images at the back of the scene and then popped the turtle and snail up on foam tape to give some dimension.

Isn't this set adorable? I love turtles! Thanks so much for stopping by today, have a great day!

Michelle I love what you did with the turtles add-on! Such cute critters. Did you made the second one that is featured on the turtle shopping page? I really like that one too. Thanks for all you do!—diane
