Happy Saturday! We're back with our third and final Favorites from the Vault giveaway opportunity!

Who remembers the very FIRST My Monthly Hero kit? The month, October...the year, 2015. Who also remembers how quickly that kit sold out? (Back then, there were no My Monthly Hero subscriptions offered.) The beautiful color layered poinsettias came onto the scene and were a smashing hit right out of the gate -- so much so, that the kit sold out in just a few hours and our website experienced some hiccups due to the heavy traffic. We've learned and grown since then, but will never forget the excitement and joy of that very first kit. It holds a special place in our hearts as we now celebrate the MMH program's 5th anniversary with you.

I love this throwback kit. I wish I had known 8years ago when I first started that I CAN design!
In the beginning there were wood mounted stamps. Then they started selling unmounted red rubber stamps. I wish I had had the forethought to mount them on cling so they would have been ready to use when the Misti was invented. Instead I scrounged wood scraps from high school wood shop and spent hours cutting wood blocks and indexing, first on sticker paper and later directly on the wood when Staz-on was invented.
I wish I knew about putting things on top of mistakes or cutting out the stamped image and lifting it off the paper in case of sloppiness. This was especially disappointing if I had spent a long time coloring the image only to have a smeared background.
Love this kit!
I have many pieces of advice. I think the biggest is you don’t need everything. To tie in with that, don’t buy it unless you can see yourself using it a lot. I have so many unused products or ones that I loved but used once.
I wish I would have known that I can’t do it without a Misti, and probably without a second job. I need a second job to be able to afford all the beauties this industry has to offer. Making cards have been my scape when I need it. Love stamping and card making!
