Video: Birds of Paradise No Coloring Card

Hello there, Daniel here with a great way to get the color without the coloring! Last time I did a video, I deconstructed the colors of a kalamata olive. Today, I'm extracting the colors of a bird of paradise plant and featuring the Birds of Paradise stamps and dies!

Watch the video below to see the full process or click HERE to watch on YouTube.

Instead of coloring in the image, I pulled together a color palette based on this particular tropical flora. Then, I used some scrap paper to create little strips of color by pressing Hero Hues Core Ink Pads directly onto them. Then, I cut the strips thinner and glued them to the back of a strip of Pitch Black cardstock with Precision Glue .

It was a super fun and easy project and the possibilities are endless with color combos and images from Hero Arts' massive collection of stamps.

The color palette includes Cherry , Papaya , Butter Bar , Aquatic and Deep Ocean . I finished it all off with a bit of Sparkle Clear Lacquer Pen .

Thanks for hanging out with me today on the Hero blog and YouTube channel. Enjoy the week!!
