Video: Double Ink Blended Emboss Resist

Hi friends! I'm here with a springy wonderland and a fun look at some of the new Hero Tools that have just arrived in the Hero Arts shop. (Read to the end of this post and watch the video to learn more!) This is a really simple project to make, but it really gives a fun new twist on emboss resist cards.

I stamped the whimsical Flowers and Swirls Bold Prints on white cardstock in Unicorn ink, after prepping the cardstock with a powder tool. I then embossed with White Detail Embossing Powder . After heating, I used Hero Arts Blending Brushes with Taffy and Splash Reactive Inks to create a colorful emboss resist background. I wiped it with a dry cloth to remove any extra ink from the embossed design. Next, I used the Daisy Mosaic Stencil and added Lemon Drop Reactive Ink over the whole card panel, again, wiping with a cloth. Stenciling over ink blended embossed backgrounds is so easy and fun.

Then, I used the Glitter Paper Basics , the new Compact Cutter and the free "thanks" message die you will get with the purchase of the Compact Cutter to create the greeting. I used Precision Glue to assemble the card and used the Colors of Earth Paper to frame the panel and the sentiment.

Watch the step-by-step video below or here on YouTube .

As mentioned in the video, the new Hero Tools are now available in the shop and Hero Arts is also offering a FREE sentiment die with the purchase of a Compact Cutter , while supplies last!

I hope you are having a great week. Thank you for stopping by!
