Video: Sunset Cityscape Featuring the December 2021 MMH Kit

Hello, friends! It’s Channin here with a new card and video! Today I create a bold cityscape card with the new December My Monthly Hero Kit . Watch to see how I modify the fancy cover plate die included in the kit and then blend a vibrant sunset background to complete my scene!

(If you are having trouble viewing this video, please try watching it HERE on YouTube.)

To create this card I first die cut two A2 panels of Pitch Black cardstock with the cover plate die included in the kit. I then trimmed off the same portion of both die cuts and adhered them together.

Next, I stamped a panel of Pebble cardstock with the City Cling Stamp included in the kit in Soft Granite Shadow Ink . I then fussy cut the cityscape out and set the panel aside. Next, I ink blended over the front of an A2 top-folding Dove White card base with Creamsicle , Taffy and Blue Hawaii Reactive Inks to create a sky.

After I had ink blended the sky, I splattered white watercolor paint to create the look of stars. I then adhered the cityscape to the card front and stamped a sentiment from the kit in Intens-ified Black ink. Lastly, I finished the card by adhering the stacked panel die cuts to the card front.

I hope you enjoyed my card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!
