YES...You Are Amazing

Hello everyone. It's Dana Joy here with you today. I can't believe we are at the end of 2020. Whew what it a year it has been. I'm finding I need quick and easy cards with a punch. Let me show you how to make a striking card with just a few supplies. The supplies I'm using today are:

Starting with my sentiment, I selected a message from the You Are Amazing stamp set and stamped it in Red Royal Ink onto a piece of Dove White cardstock. Next I placed a piece of washi tape over the sentiment and stamped my background using the All My Hearts Peek-A-Boo Parts background stamp with embossing ink. I sprinkled the background with gold embossing powder, gently removed the washi tape and heat set the powder.

I trimmed the white panel down to 4 x 5 1/4 inches and adhered it to a piece with Cherry cardstock sized at 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. Now it was time to add more interest to this card.

I stamped the large heart from the You Are Amazing stamp set with embossing ink, sprinkled on gold embossing powder and heat set it. Using my scissors, I fuzzy cut the image. Next I stamped out a few hearts from this set in Red Royal ink and also fuzzy cut them. Lastly I used foam tape to pop all the hearts onto my card panel and placed the panel on a Dove White top folding card.

Thanks for stopping by today. Happy New Year everyone.

I love how you used the You Are Amazing set with the red and gold palette! Fabulous card and stamp set too! Thanks for the inspiration and Happy New Year!

Stef Perry,

I love the idea of using Washi tape to cover the sentiment. Thanks for the tip, I i know I’m going to try that. Happy new year Dana, be well.
