You've Been Spotted

Good morning! We're back with another "Spotted!" feature and we have some fabulous finds to share with you. We will be searching out Hero Arts creations and featuring some of our favorites each month. And the best part, one of our spotted features will receive a $25 gift card to the Hero Arts online shop!

First up is this spooky shaker by Anna featuring our September 2019 My Monthly Hero Kit (that is still available in limited quantities)! Not only has she included sequin shakers throughout her design she's also added images that shake as well like the little key in the top right corner or the skull in the bottom left corner. We feel like you'd be looking at this card and seeing things move out of the corner of your eye! How spooky!!

Next is this clever interactive underwater scene from Mari! You'll have to click on the link to see her video for the full effect of this fun card but you get a peek of the inside from that window on the front. We also love how she used a mostly monochromatic theme with all that rich golden yellow! Mari combined several Hero Arts products to create this masterpiece: the Jellyfish Pattern Bold Prints, our July 2020 My Monthly Hero Kit (that's still available), and Deeply in Love. What a great undersea adventure!

Bren has created the most beautiful scene for her two young friends from Kids United! We love her gorgeous coloring and the way the two girls have coordinated their adorable outfits. And Bren added some great details like the glitter on the shoes and the ruffles on the socks. Nicely done!

Next we have a fantastic card for the fantasy lover in your life! Liz created this bold card using our Paper Layering Dragon and the Trefoil Bold Prints cling stamp. She even added a coordinating envelope stamped with the dragon from Majestic Beasts. A little bit of gold embossing and metallic paint is the perfect addition to this card!

Our next spotted card is this beautiful creation by Preeti! She combined United as One and our Stamping Village collaboration set, We Stand With You to create this inspirational and encouraging card. Her color palette is beautiful and that rainbow pattern is the perfect backdrop to those hands clasped in friendship. What a wonderful message!

We're all ready for a cozy night in after looking at Jenn's stunning scene featuring the Camp Mi Casa set! She left no detail overlooked from the moonlight streaming through the window to the yummy snacks and details on her rug and floor. We wish we could be curled up in this scene right about now!

Finally we're closing out today's feature with this pretty card from Laura! She combined the Abstract Waves Bold Print and the very popular March 2019 My Monthly Hero kit to create this striking scene. We love how her underwater creatures stand out against that beautifully watercolored background. If you click on her link you'll see two other clever cards she created using the same background stamp. What a great way to use the full 6x6 stamp!

This month's randomly chosen $25 gift card winner is Mari!! Congratulations!! Please contact us at info@heroarts.com to claim your prize and include the subject line "Spotted Winner"! And for our other Spotted favorites, we'd love for you to display this badge proudly on your blog or social media!

That's it for this month! We'll be back next month with more favorites. So get to creating and share your creations on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, your blog...we'll be looking everywhere! ;)

Happy stamping,

Today, I’m sharing a Christmas step-by-step card tutorial featuring the Polar Friends Stamp and Die Set by Simon Hurley. This card was inspired by the Christmas advertisements I remember seeing on television when I was a child in the 1990s. They often featured polar bears surrounded by...
