Melissa Phillips again, and today I’ve got more lovely
Chantilly Paper Lace cards to share with you. I don't know if you're like me, but I have always love Kraft cardstock. It’s a go-to, necessity, must-have item in my craft room. For my cards today, I have combined my love of Kraft with beautiful Spellbinders dies.
My first card uses the
Breanna’s Corset Label dies, which are a wonderful must-have item as well. They provide a perfect place to ground your elements and create standout focal points. I die cut three different sizes of them from three different colors/patterns of paper, with my top layer cut from white cardstock and stamped with my sentiment.
I accented my Label dies with intricate
Eliza Lace Corners die cuts and Kraft cardstock. It’s fun to see how elegant something as basic as Kraft cardstock can become when using Spellbinders Chantilly Paper Lace dies.
One of my most favorite things about Spellbinders dies are the results created after each lovely layer is added. Although these cards are quite easy to assemble, they look detailed and intricate.
My next card uses the sweet
Tallulah Frill dies. What a fun name and truly a die worth such a feminine name. This collection comes with three different dies, each one could easily be used alone or combined with the others. I’ve used two of the three dies on this card.
Kraft cardstock was used for my outer frame and I love the subtle yet elegant feel it adds to the card. My inner frame was cut using pink patterned paper and is one of the daintiest dies I have ever used. I can see using it on baby girl cards next :).
My sentiment was stamped on a
Breanna’s Corset Label die cut one again. Such a pretty shape that adds so much to the other Chantilly Paper Lace dies. These dies take on a variety of personalities and characteristic as they’re combined with different mediums. They are so much fun to explore and experiment with.
