Hi there, crafty friends! I’m Rebecca Keppel, and it’s TIME to share a fun new collection called Cuckoo Cottage. The Cuckoo Cottage Die Bundle includes the traditional Cuckoo Cottage Die, which creates a traditional cuckoo clock. The other die sets are Halloween Tick Tock, Harvest Time, and Chiming Christmas. These accessory sets take you through the rest of the year!
First up is Halloween! You can cut the original cuckoo clock out of Halloween colors and then decorate it with the Halloween accessories. Try adding Onyx Assorted Treasured Cardstock for glitter, metallic, or mirror metallic elements. You can add ghosts, black cats, a mummy, candy corn, bats, and more! The chains, weights, and pendulum that hang from the bottom of the clock can be adorned with a pumpkin or a spider. The Cuckoo Cottage Sentiments Betterpress Plate & Die Set has a sentiment perfect for a Halloween clock.
Moving on through the year, it’s TIME for autumn and the Harvest Time Etched Dies. This clock can be cut out of fall-themed cardstock colors. The accessories include foxes, squirrels, leaves, and more. Gold Mirror Metallic cardstock makes perfect chains for the clock. The chains and pendulum can be decorated with an acorn, pumpkin, or leaf. The base of the clock can be turned into a tree limb with all the cute critters standing on it.
As the clock chimes, we have made it to Christmas! The Chiming Christmas Etched Dies include so many little characters like a snowman, reindeer, snow-covered tree, penguin, and more. The roof of the clock can be covered in snow, and the clock base can be turned into a peppermint stick. The chains can be covered by baubles, and the pendulum covered in a peppermint candy.
The Cuckoo Cottage Etched Dies creates such a detailed, adorable clock on its own, but it’s so much more fun (and versatile) when you can continue to create with those dies by adding the accessory sets throughout the remainder of the year!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! If you would like to see more of my Spellbinders projects, I share lots of them on my Instagram and Youtube Channel and would love to connect with you there!
