Hi there, crafty friends! It’s Simon Hurley, and I am so excited to introduce you to my new Halloween Hugs Collection with Spellbinders!
Earlier this year, we released the Sending Hugs Collection featuring an adorable bear, dog, and cat that look like they are giving hugs to the card recipient or holding fun props. I absolutely love that collection and the playful, interactive feeling each character brings to a card.
We had so much fun with that concept that we decided to give it a spooky twist! The Halloween Hugs Collection features some of the most iconic Halloween characters, including a vampire, Frankenstein’s monster, a witch, and a princess, all designed in that same adorable hugging style. Each character can hold different accessories and props, allowing you to personalize them and create playful Halloween cards.
DRAC DIE SET
Drac is the adorable vampire of the collection! I love his toothy smile, dapper tuxedo, and dramatic cape. He has just the right combination of spooky and sweet.
The added bats and moon allow you to build a complete nighttime scene around him. You can also use the banner and sentiments to create a tailored greeting such as “You’re Fangtastic,” or keep things simple with a classic “Happy Halloween.”
Drac is perfect for creating Halloween cards that are spooky, playful, and still completely adorable.
FRANK DIE SET
Frank is our take on the iconic Frankenstein’s monster. His frazzled hair, neck bolts, and lovable expression give him so much personality!
This set also includes a tombstone and a trick-or-treat pumpkin basket, making it easy to create a complete Halloween scene. One of my favorite things about this collection is that you can interchange many of the accessories between the different characters. Give Frank the pumpkin basket, or use it with Drac, the witch, or the princess to make any of them ready for a night of trick-or-treating.
Mixing and matching all of these little details gives you so many possibilities for creating unique cards.
