Inspiration Featuring the Delightful Darlings Collection with Andrea

Hello, crafty friends!  It's Andrea from Blissfully Scrappy with you to share two cards I created featuring the adorable Delightful Darlings Collection illustrated by Mayline Jung.  These girls are so cute and fun to color, and you can easily make them look like any little girl you know by changing your color choices.  What little (or big!) girl wouldn't love a card with an image that looks like her?!

Darling Hello

First up is this cutie from the Darling Hello stamp set. Isn't she so sweet and perky?! I stamped her and the butterflies from the set, colored them with Copics, and fussy-cut them.

I really wanted to accentuate this little girl's sunny personality, so I pulled out the Sun Rays Embossing Folder. After die-cutting blue cardstock with the largest die from the Essential Rectangles dies, I embossed it with the folder and adhered it to a white card. With the Scalloped Circles dies (one of my first Spellbinders die sets, but still a favorite!), I die-cut yellow cardstock. Onto that I layered a white circle cut with the Essential Circles dies. I blended the center with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink before attaching it to my card with foam tape.

For my sentiment I foiled a phrase from the Everyday Sentiments II Glimmer Plate with Pink Glimmer Foil. I trimmed it down with the coordinating die and popped it up with foam tape. I attached the girl with foam tape and the butterflies with liquid adhesive, bending up their wings for some dimension.

Darling Hugs

This sweet girl is from the Darling Hugs stamp set. I colored her with Copics and fussy-cut her.

For my background I foiled the Scattered Hearts Background Glimmer Plate onto white cardstock with Prism Glimmer Foil. I love how this foil changes color in the light! To frame that lovely background, I foiled lavender cardstock with the February 2021 Glimmer Kit of the Month and Bright Pink Glimmer Foil. I die-cut the center with the Essential Rectangles Dies and attached it to my background with foam tape.

The sentiment is from the Simply Perfect Mix and Match Sentiments Dies.  I die-cut it once from pink glitter paper and three times from white cardstock.  I layered the die-cuts together and attached them to my card.  Finally, I adhered my colored image with foam tape.
