Pastel Tone Textures Cards with Field Notes Collection

Hello, Crafty Friends, I’m Heejung Hunsberger, and I am honored to return as a guest designer for Spellbinders this month. Today, I’m excited to share three cards in pastel tones that feature the Field Notes Collection.
If you'd like to get to know me better, visit my blog or follow me on Instagram. Additionally, I have a YouTube channel where I regularly post video tutorials.

YOU’RE IN MY THOUGHTS CARD

Pastel Tone Textures Cards, E3D-106, BP-229, DOMST-APR24, BP-261 First, I embossed the Field Notes 3D embossing folder onto the Waterfall Color Card stock. Before embossing, spray water onto the card stock; this additional step yields better results than embossing without water spray. I used the BetterPress System to press the Bloom Wildly BP plate on porcelain BP cotton card stock in Dusty Concord ink. I die-cut the pressed flowers panel using the Stitched Wall Hanging die and created a frame from the same die on lilac color cardstock. I applied silver pearl metallic watercolor onto the images with a brush and then attached the frame. I gold hot-foiled the sentiments from the Ideal Moments BP plate on black card stock and die-cut them with the coordinating die. I completed the card with the Antique Silver pearl embellishments.

HELLO FRIEND CARD

Pastel Tone Textures Cards, E3D-106, S4-1369, S2-411, BP-271 I first embossed the Field Notes 3D embossing folder onto white cardstock and applied green ink using a blending brush. I used a large size brush. I die-cut flowers from the Field Notes Wildflowers die using card stocks in the rainforest, Waterfall, Fairy Tale, and Lavender colors.   I die-cut the pencil from the Field Notes Tools die on card stock in Tuscan, Raven, and Chiffon. I used black ink to press the sentiments from the Holding Your Hearts press plate onto fawn-colored cardstock. Then, I die-cut the sentiments with a coordinating die.

THANK YOU CARD

Pastel Tone Textures Cards, S5-635, BP-228, BP-271 I used green, yellow, and blue watercolors on watercolor paper. I die-cut the watercolor panel using the Postage Edge Rectangle die. I splatted blue colors over the panel and pressed the Ferns from the Lush Ferns Better Press plate in green ink. I gold hot-foiled the Holding Your Heart sentiments plate on black cardstock and die-cut it with the coordinating die. I completed the card with the gold pearl embellishments. I hope these cards inspire many of you. Happy crafting! XOXO, Heejung
