Hi there crafty friends! I’m Rebecca Keppel and today I am sharing a tutorial for creating a bright happy birthday card!
First, cut the Classic Mouse Borders Die with the music notes out of Raven Cardstock and the rope border out of Pomegranate Cardstock.
Use Spellbinders Best Ever Craft Tape to hold the die in place and run it through the Spellbinders Platinum 6 Machine.
Use the Spellbinders Guillotine Trimmer to cut out one of the 3x4” elements from the Simple Stories Say Cheese Classic Mouse 6x8 Paper Pad.
I want the “happy” of my happy birthday to be even bigger than the one included in the bingo element I chose, so I cut it off and trimmed off the bottom too. This will make it fit better on my 4.25”x5.5” (A2) card.
I chose a whimsical, colorful dot-patterned paper from the pad and cut that into the A2 size. I cut some white cardstock down to 3.75”x5.0” size.
Add liquid adhesive to the back of the red border and apply it to the left-hand side of the white cardstock and trim off any of the border that hangs off of the top and bottom.
Again, add liquid adhesive to the back of the music note border, but this time adhere it to the top of the white cardstock.
Add Spellbinders Foam Squares to the back of the white cardstock and adhere that to the patterned paper.
Add Foam Squares to the back of the bingo card element and adhere it to the white cardstock, leaving enough room above it for another element.
Use the “happy” from the Simple Stories Say Cheese Chipboard Stickers above the birthday element. Add one of the chipboard heart stickers to the bingo element.
It is so easy to embellish your card further with the Simple Stories Say Cheese Classic Mouse Decorative Brads because they are self-adhesive. Simply peel and stick!
I did add one small star die cut from the Simple Stories Say Cheese Classic Mouse Bits and Pieces.
