Swirling Foliage Tree 3 Ways

Hello, dear friends! It's Leica, and today I want to share three fun ways to use the Swirling Foliage Tree from the Glimmer for the Holidays collection. This hot foil plate creates a beautiful swirling foliage design that's perfect for making stunning Christmas cards. Let's dive in!

For my first card, I cut up strips of colorful cardstock and glued them onto white A2-sized paper. Then, I hot-foiled the Swirling Foliage Tree in gorgeous gold foil and trimmed it down, adding a gold border around it. The result was absolutely stunning! To complete the look, I added some white foliage, red berries, and topped it off with a pink Merry Christmas wax seal.

Onto the second card, I hot foiled the Swirling Foliage Tree on Sage cardstock and added some extra sparkle with pink gems all over the tree. It turned out so sparkly and festive, just perfect for the holidays! I used the Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies to cut the card panel and added a pink cardstock behind it. The sentiment came from the Christmas Die & Glimmer Sentiments Hot Foil Plate Set.

For the last card, I hot-foiled the Swirling Foliage Tree on white cardstock. Then, I added a heartfelt sentiment from the Comfort & Joy Sentiments Hot Foil Plate & Die Set, hot foiled in white on Dahlia cardstock. To give it a softer touch, I included a pink border around the card panel before attaching it to an A2-sized card base. To complete the look, I added a poinsettia and some pine needle sprigs.

And there you have it, my friends! The Swirling Foliage Tree offers endless possibilities for creating unique and beautiful cards. It's such a versatile product, and you'll definitely get your money's worth. I love how the design stands out and makes for a fantastic focal point on my Christmas cards. Thank you for joining me, and happy crafting!
