The Top Five Cardmaking Essentials | Spellbinders Live

These nesting dies are a powerhouse of versatility with separate pierced edge dies. They also coordinate with other products, like the Glimmer Dual Line and Essential Glimmer Rectangles. If you love these, grab the Essentials Circles, Squares, and Oval dies too! Second on Kim’s list of favorites are the 30 shades of Color Essentials Cardstock. Watch the video to see the tag book of color swatches that Kim made. For today’s card, Kim chose a few shades of green, yellow, teal, black and white. (A bonus favorite on Kim’s list is our selection of precut card bases which come in a variety of sizes.)

Kim’s next favorite is a great sentiment set, like the Essential Sentiments Clear Stamps. Kim embossed the beautiful Thank You sentiment for today’s card. I really enjoy these videos – lots of tips and product information. I think the gems are great for all the projects I have made – especially the small gems for those little flowers which I find myself using more and more. The colors are nice and they really sparkle. Wish they came in more colors to match your card stock and inks! The Bearly Art Mini 2 fl oz Precision Craft Glue + Tip Kit is a must have for me. The tips are great; glue is eco friendly and works in all types of weather. I find I use less of it and thinner paper handles it well too, no wrinkles or bumps. I wish you carried the refill and the cap that attaches to the bottle (fits under the big cap so stays attached when you take it off tip). I seem to have to hunt for the removable cap…not a reflection on the glue or packaging! Although I do have the other products the gems, Mini Blooms and Sprigs, and glue are used every time I make cards.
