Here we are with our second countdown post for the day, leading up to the April My Monthly Hero kit and add-ons release on Monday, April 3rd at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. Sally is here to show you some fun ways to use more of the optional add-ons released with this month’s kit.
Who said you can’t craft when your ulna is fractured? The crafting must go on… and it did!! Nothing can keep ME from stamping with our new add-ons for the April My Monthly Hero release. I love girlie sets and this was totally “cast” for me.
First up is the easy one, using the cute new Dress Up Stamp & Cut set. I didn’t have the dies yet when I made this card, so I just hand cut a little skirt for her. But with the Stamp & Cut set, creating a skirt will be easy peasy!
Here’s another cute card using the same set. I used our Oval Infinity Dies to cut the oval for the girl to be peeking out of. I stamped a bunch of flowers – then I added a few punched flowers and leaves to cover up an “oops”. We all have those now and then, don’t we? I find they are more common when stamping with a broken arm…! :)
Those little faces in the set just charmed me, so I maxed this set out by making cute little heads out of a dot stamp in various colors. Stamp messages first and then stamp heads and faces. Use a fine black pen to doodle different hair-dos. Fun stuff!
Lastly, I LOVE the new 3D Shopping Bag Fancy Die. Make a simple birthday card by cutting the bag from preprinted paper. Stuff with tissue and tie on tulle bow. This fun die is also the perfect size to hold a gift card!
