Funny Valentine's Tags and Notes

Valentines Tags by Sally Traidman for Hero Arts

One of my favorite stamp sets from the new 2018 Valentine's Collection has the wonderfully fun name I Love You More Than Pizza. This little message set has LOTS of great uses. One is making little “love” notes out of tiny cards or tags.

I began by die cutting several tags and envelopes out of paper scraps, and fancied them up with circles and eyelets… remember those from years ago? I'm still a fan, I say let’s bring eyelets back!!! I used our Tag Infinity Dies and for envelopes/card holders, I used two of our other dies - the Envelope Fancy Die as well as the Love Note Pair Fancy Dies.

Next find your messages and stamp them out with any images that will work. I used the images from I Love You More Than Pizza, plus one heart, of course. And, by the way, one of these was on my husband’s anniversary card…46 years this week…can you guess which one?

I couldn’t resist using the pretty rainbow cord and googly eyes. Have fun playing!!

I LOOOOOOVE these super fun ideas!!!!

Kirsty Vittetoe,

I found a similar rainbow cord but shiny-ish at Tuesday Morning. It was called SEW easy fancy floss by We R Memory Keepers a few wks ago.

Sally Traidman,

such fun tags, what a wonderful stamp set …

Carol K,

Hi Connie – sorry we didn’t specify in the post, but that rainbow cord Sally used is just something she’s had in her stash for ages. It’s not a Hero Arts product. Apologies that you went hunting for it!

Libby,

Sally, what a wonderful idea on how to use non conventional dies to create cared. I will be using this idea☺️. I have other dies as well that I can use for card. Than you for your inspiration!
