Graphic Slimline Neighborhood Houses

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I'm sharing a slimline card featuring the new Neighborhood Houses Fancy Dies. These sweet house dies cut door, window and roof details that are adorable, and the little doors can be opened, too!

To start, I cut three panels of cardstock: one 3" x 6.5" and one 3.5" x 7" panel of Dove White, and one 3 1/8" x 6 5/8" panel of Pitch Black. Next, I masked off the bottom 1/4" inch of the smallest white panel and then used Onyx pigment ink to stamp a portion of the Sunburst Bold Prints background stamp onto the panel. I removed the mask and then set the panel aside to let the pigment ink dry.

Next, I cut each of the five houses from a different color of cardstock: Coral, Papaya, Paradise, Bermuda, and Mustard. I used foam tape to adhere these to the Sunburst panel. Then I used clear Watermark & Embossing ink and white embossing powder to heat emboss a sentiment, from the A Warm Welcome stamp set, onto Pitch Black cardstock. I trimmed the sentiment into a strip and then adhered it over the houses.

To assemble the card, I glued the card front to the panel of Pitch Black cardstock and then adhered the combined piece to the last piece of cardstock. To finish, I adhered the card front to a card base created by scoring a 7" x 7" panel of white cardstock down the middle.

Thank you so much for visiting!
