Holiday Sparkles Card

Hello friends!! It’s Channin here and today I created a holiday card featuring the beautiful Holiday Sparkles Bundle. This card features simple ink-blending to create a stunning background studded with golden ombre stars.

To create this card I first stamped the stars from the Holiday Sparkles stamp set in Embossing & Watermark Ink onto Deluxe Smooth White cardstock. I poured gold embossing powder over the stars and then heat set them with a heat tool. Next, I die cut the stars out with the Holiday Sparkles Frame Cuts. I then ink-blended over the stars with Dandelion and Spicy Mustard Core Inks to create gradations over the stars.

Next, I trimmed down a sheet of Lapis cardstock to 4” x 5 1/2”. I then stamped a sentiment from the Holiday Sparkles stamp set in Embossing & Watermark Ink, then poured gold embossing powder over and then heat set. Next, I repositioned the sentiment so it was slightly off-set of the gold and then stamped it again in Nautical Core Ink.

I then ink-blended the Lapis panel with Blue Hawaii, Nautical and Pitch Black inks. Next, I splattered the panel with watered down Unicorn Pigment Ink to create the look of stars. I adhered the panel onto a top-folding white card base with Precision Glue. Lastly, I finished the card by adhering the stars with foam adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card! Thank you so much for stopping by!

What a beautiful card! This design would also work with a sentiment like “Have a stellar birthday.”
