Layering Stencils in Black & White

Hi, crafty friends. Today's card features our new Hero Studio Layering Stencil of the Month. There are so many fun possibilities of color choices but I wanted to share a different spin and show what it looks like in black and white...

To create this card, I applied gray and black ink through the June Layering Stencils of the Month to create a background. I temporarily adhered two Nesting Rectangle Infinity Dies dies together and ran them through the die cut machine with Pitch Black cardstock to create a frame. I adhered it on top of the background. I finished off the design by die cutting a heart from Cherry cardstock and white heat embossed a sentiment from the June Card Kit of the Month.

Here's a closer look...

I also stamped the flap of a Dove White Envelope with the same stamp set using Cherry ink to tie everything together.

I hope this inspires you to try a black and white look with your layering stencils.

Thanks for visiting today.
