March My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #3 and Giveaway!

We're back for another countdown post, leading up to the release of the March My Monthly Hero kit! Release day is Monday, March 5th at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. We’ll be here all weekend long, sharing ideas for using both the main kit, as well as new optional add-on products that will be available on Monday. Hi everyone, I hope you are enjoying the Countdown posts so far. I love this month's kit because it's full with sentiments and word dies. I personally love the size of the word dies, as well as the font! My favorite is the "Hugs" one, so I had to use it on my card. I started by die cutting it from Snow layering paper and did it three times. I inked the first one with Versamark and used the sparkle silver embossing powder that comes in the kit to emboss it. I repeated this process 4 times, so I could get little bit more raised and dimensional look. Next, I adhered the other 2 die cuts on the bottom of the embossed one, to get even more raised sentiment. I set an acrylic block on top and let the adhesive dry while I was working on the rest of the card.

I die cut Bold Graphic confetti die (this die is one of the March add-ons) from Pool layering paper and trimmed it down to 3 3/4" x 5"and sprayed with White iridescent shimmer spray (another add-on for March) and set it aside to dry. Next, I die cut a circle using the Circle Infinity Dies from dark gray layering paper (Midnight mix) and a matching one from vellum. I stamped with Versamark and embossed with White Detail embossing powder (again one of the add-ons for this month) on the vellum circle. I adhered both circles together and adhered the "hugs" die cut.

I assembled my panel and adhered it to a dark gray note card (Midnight mix) and adhered some sparkling sequins that come in the kit to finish my card.
