May My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #3 + Giveaway!

MMH Countdown to Creativity

Kelly's back with her final idea of the day, another peek featuring the add-on stamp set that will be released with our May My Monthly Hero kit on Monday, May 2 at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific.

I have another project to share that uses the add-on hero_product_link sku="CL981" text="Happy Mail"] stamp set, but this time I thought I'd show you how the images are great for cards as well as envelope decorating.

I used the Silver Embossing Powder that is included in the kit on the envelope images as well as the message. There is just something so awesome about metallic embossing -- it kind of makes you want to pet the card...know what I mean!?!?

To color the envelopes, I just did some simple watercoloring with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. And some faux stitching around the edge with a silver gel pen ties in perfectly with the silver heat embossing.

Thanks for joining me for my sneak peeks of the May release! Be sure to leave comments on my posts today, and all of the posts this weekend, to enter to win a kit before you can buy it! We'll be back throughout the weekend with more ideas for using this month's kit - stay tuned!
