May My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #4 + Giveaway!

Checking in with another countdown post, leading up to the release of the May My Monthly Hero kit on Monday, May 1st at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. Don’t forget to comment on each and every post – yesterday, today & tomorrow – as we’ll be giving away a kit on Monday morning, before the kit launches! Here’s Libby, introducing you to more of the optional add-on products!

I haven’t been able to decide what I love more – this month’s kit, or the completely FABULOUS add-ons to this month’s kit!! Today I used one of the add-ons – I think it’s one of my favorite woodblock stamps ever. It’s called Mermaid.

I colored the mermaid with my Copic markers. Another thing I love about this stamp is that it has a matching Mermaid Frame Cut die. I die cut the mermaid, then added tons of shimmer with some glitter glue from my stash.

The silver-embossed message is from another one of the add-ons releasing this month – Mer-mazing Messages. It’s full of perfect sentiments to go with mermaids or other under the sea cards. I stamped it on vellum, then layered it over my mermaid. The paper in the background is from a gorgeous shimmery sheet included in the main kit. The entire thing is mounted on a tag die cut with the Tag Infinity Dies, and Ombre Ocean Sequins were added to finish it off with a little more bling. Because it wasn’t quite blingy enough…!

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all of the comments left across all countdown posts and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, May 1st, before the kit launches at 1pm Eastern. The more you comment, the more chances you’ll have to win!
