May My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #2 + Giveaway

Hello! It's time for another look at the May My Monthly Hero Kit before the kit releases on Monday, May 6 at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. We will be here for the rest of the weekend, sharing inspiration before the launch. Now let's join Michelle for another look at this fabulous kit.

Another fantastic kit this month and perfect for all us creatives. I love that the kit covers so many different creative pursuits - drawing, paper crafting, sewing, knitting, painting; there is something for everyone!

Sending Craft Hugs by Michelle Short for Hero Arts

For my card, I started off by stamping quite a few of the different product images from the main kit stamp set on to white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I then coloured them very simply with Copic Markers, leaving some white space too. I think these images lead themselves to rainbow colours quite well so that's what I did for my card. I then die cut the images using the coordinating dies in the kit.

I took a panel of white cardstock and stamped one of the sentiments from the main kit onto it using more Intense Black Ink. I then adhered the images below it with foam tape. I overhung them on the bottom of the panel and cut off the excess. The panel was then added to a white card base with more foam tape.

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, May 6, before the kit launches at 10am Pacific. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

Good luck!

Love the card!

Lindarub,

I keep telling myself to slow down on kits because I haven’t used all the ones I have. This one looks like it’s going to be too cute to miss out on though Maybe I’ll show restraint next time…

Shannon Lopez,

Perfect for making cards for crafty friends!

Susan S,

Can’t wait to see it all!

Cynthia C.,
