New Home Bird House

Hello there, Michelle here and today I have a card to share with you using the new Bird House Fancy Die that was released as an add-on to the August 2020 My Monthly Hero Kit. You can use this bird house in so many ways but for today, I thought I would create a new home card.

I started off by die cutting the Bird House Fancy Die from Sand and Cherry Cardstock. I then cut the bird from Dove White Cardstock. I also cut the heart from the US Map Infinity Dies Set from Cherry Cardstock too.

For some added depth and dimension, I added shading on to the bird house pieces using Copic Markers. I then coloured the bird using Copic Markers also. I took a panel of Dove White Cardstock and die cut it using the Woodgrain Texture Fancy Die. It was adhered on to the front of a top folding card base using tape runner.

I then added the elements on top with foam tape. I took the sentiment from the House Stamp & Cut set and stamped it on to Pitch Black Cardstock with Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut in to a strip and added to the card with more foam tape. To finish off, I added Crystal Clear Lacquer Pen on to the heart.

Thank you so much for joining me today, happy stamping!
