One-Layer Christmas Cards with Stamped Backgrounds

As you probably know, my favorite cardmaking technique is creating my stamped background using small images from various stamp sets. It’s a great way to get more out of your small stamps.

This time I pulled out three stamp sets from 2016 Winter Catalog: Holiday Mittens, Build a Wreath, and Color Layering Wreath.

To add some interest on my one layer card, I added some white dots using white gel pen on my mittens. Then I finished off my card with some white pearls on the center of the small poinsettias.

I just couldn’t stop playing with small images so I created another card with the same design but the different color combo. It’s always so fun to use non-traditional colors on holiday cards.

Just a reminder that our new challenge started a couple of weeks ago: Holiday Cardmaking Challenge. Make sure to play along for a chance to win one of five $50 shopping spree with free shipping!

That’s all for today. Hope you love what I created. Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
