Personalized Birthday Balloons

Hello, crafty friends! Today, I'm sharing a fun card I made recently for my youngest niece's birthday, using the Color Layering Balloons Stencils.

I decided to make a personalized birthday card, and I wanted it to be fun and a little whimsical. I decided to use the Color Layering Balloons Stencils, but I inked up individual balloons in a haphazard row in a combination of blue and blue-green inks. This is a good way to stretch your stencils - you don't always have to use them in the arrangement provided!

I added my niece's name using the Luggage Lowercase Alphabet Fancy Dies, and stamped a happy birthday sentiment from the Let's Celebrate Clear Stamp Set. I did a bit of stamp surgery to cut the two words apart so I could stack them. I drew on the balloon strings with fine tip marker pens, and popped my panel up with foam adhesive over two strips of Adriatic Cardstock. I finished with some faux stitching drawn with white gel pen.
