Sending My Love

Good morning! Emily Midgett here with you today to share some inspiration using a few new goodies from the most recent My Monthly Hero release! (There are a few kits left, so be sure to head on over there and grab on if you've been on the fence! Once they're gone, they're gone!) I've created a project today using some of the new goodies... could be a Valentine, could be just an every day card with these colors! Let's get started with the details!

I began by stamping the Hearts & Flowers Bold Prints background using Mint Julep ink onto an A2 panel of white card stock. I then used a blending tool to blend some more Mint Julep ink around the edge of the card front. Using the same ink creates a subtle, almost tone-on-tone effect with the stamped background. I also die cut an utterly darling Bicycle with Basket Fancy Die from some black card stock. (Note: Although this die sold out, it will be restocked, as all of our monthly add-on products are.)

I adhered the bicycle die cut to the blended card front using liquid adhesive. Next, I used the new You Are Loved Flourish Messages to stamp a greeting using Intense Black ink, adding some flourishes and hearts from the You Are Loved stamp set in Mint Julep for some subtle accents. This card is nice and flat, perfect for mailing!

Well, that's all for me today! Remember, if you are on the fence about purchasing a My Monthly Hero kit for this month, be sure to get your order in ASAP, because once it's gone, it's gone for good!
