Today we're delighted to have Creative Team members Jayne and Mindy here to share some fabulous "beyond the kit" ideas for a few of the add-ons.
Jayne: For my card, I’m featuring the beautiful, new Fall Leaves Cover Plate paired with some die-cut leaves made with the versatile Foliage & Flowers Fancy Die set. I started by blending four, fall colors from the Sunshine and Nature Palette Reactive Ink sets onto a panel of Dove White cardstock. I splattered the inked panel with water and then die-cut it with the Fall Leaves Cover Plate to create a colorful, leafy background. Before securing the panel to a Woodland card base, I gently pushed a few of the die-cut leaves from the back to create some dimension on the front.
Then, I inked three scraps of white cardstock with the Root Beer, Green Apple and Fruit Punch Reactive Ink cubes. I used the Foliage & Flowers Fancy Die to cut three, identical leaves that I secured to the center of the card with foam tape. I also added a simple sentiment from the Koi Bunch set that I embossed with White Embossing Powder . To finish the card, I added three white enamel dots .
Mindy: Make your foiling center stage with the Fall Leaves Hot Foil Plate . You can ink blend before or after your foiling to create a gradient of color down the front of your card. If the foiling is too much for you, die-cut out a shape from the center of the card. This is a great place to also add your sentiment .

The Leaves Cover Plate die gives wonderful dimension by popping out some of the leaves.
