Spinner Card with Town Essentials

Interactive cards are something new to me, but very appealing. By adding a little movable mechanism to a project one can really take it to a whole new level and create that WOW effect for the recipient.

Today I'm sharing an interactive spinner We Moved card using fun hero_product_link sku="CL951" text="Town Essentials stamp set"].

hero_product_link sku="CL951" text="Town Essentials stamp set"] is a great set filled with lots of images of houses, trees and things you usually see on the street. Its perfect for creating Welcome to the Neighborhood and similar cards. I've shared three other projects ideas on my blog using it, you can check them out here (there's also a video).

To create the spinner mechanism for this project I die cut two circles - a larger one and a smaller one. The images were stamped onto the larger circle using hero_product_link sku="AF345" text="Intense Black ink"], which is a Copic-friendly ink and colored with Copic markers.

I then poked a hole in the center of both circles and connected them using a small brad. The smaller circle was foam mounted onto a white cardstock panel. This allowed my top circle to spin freely.

To finish this card I stamped a street background onto dark grey card base using hero_product_link sku="CG692" text="Street Map"] stamp and hero_product_link sku="AF236" text="Charcoal"] ink. I also heat embossed a simple We Moved, Come Visit sentiment from the hero_product_link sku="CL951" text="Town Essentials stamp set"] using hero_product_link sku="PW110" text="white embossing powder"].
