'Tis the Season

It's a sure sign the holidays are upon us when a quick trip to the grocers is greeted by full carts and long lines. All good signs pointing to the arrival of family, friends and full bellies.

Today's card features the Paper Layering Wooden Door with Decorative Woodgrain Cardstock adorned with a watercolored wreath from Santa's Door Accessories.

Begin by trimming Decorative Woodgrain Cardstock into 1" strips and lightly blending with Silver Shadow Ink. Evenly adhere strips horizontally to A2 folded card base to resemble siding. Die cut door and accessories. Blend door with Soft Pool Shadow Ink and press Silver Shadow Ink directly on accents to for a metallic appearance.

White heat emboss wreath, watercolor and die cut. Stamp bow in Crimson Bold Ink and lightly shadow with colored pencil on Blush Mix Layering Paper. Stamp sentiment in Black on Wood Grain Vellum and trim in a banner style. Adhere all components using dimensional adhesive here and there for detail. Add a touch of a shimmery marker over bow for the requisite sparkle!

Thank you for visiting Hero Arts today. May your week run smoothly, your dinner cook to perfection and the laughter last into the wee hours.
