Video: Unique Color Palette for the Olive Branch Stamp Set

Hey my friends! Daniel West, here, with an interesting and unique color palette for the new Olive Branch stamp set. I have a video of this Copic painting. You can watch it here .

When I think of olives, my mind makes a beeline to pimento-stuffed olives in a jar. But the more colorful olives come in a green and violet palette. For today's selection of markers, I chose to deconstruct a Kalamata olive and paint the leaves in those colors while giving the fruits a traditional look.

You can watch how I colored it in and see all the colors I used over on the YouTube channel .

Thank you for spending some time with me today on the blog. I hope you have a wonderful week.

The colors caught my eye when I first opened the email a few days ago. I REALLY love it now that I viewed the video. Thanks for the tutorial on using Copics. The depth of color is beautiful…they look 3-D.

Elaine Harp,

Wendy Dillon,

Just absolutely gorgeous, Daniel, as is all your work! Thanks for sharing!

JOAN WILLIAMS,

Interesting color pallet and also some great tips on how to stretch your markers when you don’t have every color made. Thank you and loved your card.
