Video: Window on the Garden Tulips

Hi everyone! Ilina here. Today I am sharing a card (and a video) using few of the new Hero Arts 2020 catalog stamps and dies: Single Tulip, Hero Florals Tulips and coordinating Frame Cuts , along with the Window on the Garden Fancy Die .

Watch the video below to see how this card came to be (or click HERE to watch on YouTube.)

To make the card start by die cutting the Window on the Garden Fancy Die from a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Dove White cardstock . Stamp the sentiment and set aside.

Next stamp the Single Tulip three times on Dove White cardstock using Intens-ified Black ink. Stamp the butterfly from the Hero Florals Tulips set, as well. Color using alcohol based markers, or another coloring medium of your choice.

Once done, die cut the butterfly and fussy cut the tulips. Set aside.

Cut another piece of Dove White cardstock measuring 4" x 5 1/4" and ink blend the following Reactive Inks: Key Lime Fizz , Lemon Drop and Pool Party.

Assemble the card and adhere the tulips and butterfly.

Make a top folding notecard using Hero Hues Kiwi cardstock (4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2".) Adhere the assembled panel.

Thank you so much for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day!

ERUfPyZBhiVnH,

Hello, I think your card is lovely. I just feel badly that I could not understand a word that you said in your video. The audio was muffled and so it didn’t come through……. I enjoyed the designing technique anyway.

Mollie G Tiffin,

Absolutely beautiful card! I just received the window-on-the-garden-die I ordered and am looking forward to trying it on some cards. Thanks so much for the inspiration!

Karen F.,

I fell in love with this die the first time I saw these cards. I’m just learning to water color & it will be perfect for showcasing some of my creations.

Beth Williams,

Lovely creative card. So colorful!
