2 Layouts and a Card Using Golden Afternoon by Rosie’s Studio

Hi everyone! I’m Stephanie Dang, and I am the guest designer for this beautiful collection called, Golden Afternoon by Rosie’s Studio. Chase Your Dreams Layout

• Step 1: Start with the brown floral paper. Trim ¼’ off each edge of white cardstock. Add the filmstrip acetate.
• Step 2: Add a photo in the middle. Only add adhesive towards the middle of the photo to leave room to tuck things in.
• Step 3: Add the florals as seen starting with the florals that tuck behind the photo first, and then layer the others on top of the photo.
• Step 4: Die-cut the label and betterpress the sentiment using set Cherish This. Add title and all sentiments. Finish with gold puffy stickers.

Life is Lovely Layout

• Step 1: Start with a yellow floral background. Trim off  1 1/4” off the smaller beige floral paper. Adhere that towards the right of the yellow paper.
• Step 2: Add the butterfly floral vellum paper to the middle of the beige floral paper. Trim assorted paper to layer behind the photo in various sizes as seen. Diecut filmstrip in yellow paper. Tuck behind left of photo.
• Step 3: Take tag and place behind right of photo.  Add the passage tag behind left of photo.
• Step 4: Diecut green and plaid scallop border, and add towards bottom of photo as seen. Tuck “happy day” sentiment at bottom of those scallop borders.
• Step 5: Add the following ephemeras: film circle (cut in half), the mannequin, guitar, camera, girl head, floral basket, and ducks. Making sure to add foam adhesive here and there to make it pop.
• Step 6: Finish the layout by adding golden florals and puffy stickers.

Celebrate Card

• Step 1: Start with a2 card base. Layer on the cream gold paper. Cut the green floral paper to an a2. Trim from corner to corner to create a bottom corner base. Attach to card.
• Step 2: Add florals, sun, and golden floral. Add the corners, title, and sentiment.
• Step 3: Finish with the deer above the title.

Other supplies

Adhesive, dimensional adhesive, sewing machine, thread, and purple watercolor.
