Beyond the Sentiment: Copperplate & BetterPress Backdrops

For today's post, I've created three cards, each highlighting a different sentiment from the collection and utilizing BetterPress plates for stunning backgrounds. Let's dive into the details!

Happy Birthday Celebration Card

This festive birthday card combines a vibrant BetterPress background with a striking foiled sentiment.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Start by pressing the Birthday Bash BetterPress Plate onto Porcelain BetterPress A2 Cotton Card Panels using Pool color Ink.
2. Once pressed, use your favorite markers to color in the detailed background design.
3. Next, hot foil the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Copperplate Happy Birthday Everything Plate & Die Set onto white cardstock using Moondust Hot Foil.
4. Carefully cut out the circular window within the pressed background using a craft knife and scissors. This will create a frame for your foiled sentiment.
5. Adhere the foiled "Happy Birthday" sentiment behind the circular opening of the background using foam stickers for added dimension.
6. Die-cut a circular ring from Aquamarine Treasured Cardstock using a circle die.
7. Layer this ring over the pressed background, aligning it with the circular opening.
8. Using scissors, carefully trim around the elements of the pressed image that extend over the circular ring, allowing them to overlap the ring for a unique layered effect.
9. Die-cut the cupcake elements from the Birthday Wreath Add-Ons Die Set on rainforest, Blue Spruce card stock.
10. Adhere the die-cut cupcakes to the card.
11. Add details to the cupcakes with a white gel pen and pearl embellishments.
12. Finish the card by adding Capri Blue Gems as accents.

Happy Anniversary Blooms Card

This elegant anniversary card features a beautiful floral background and a shimmering foiled sentiment.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Press the Mirrored Arch Blooms BetterPress Plate onto white cardstock using black BetterPress ink.
2. Color in the floral design with your preferred markers.
3. Hot foil the "Happy Anniversary" sentiment from the Copperplate Happy Anniversary onto Waterfall Cardstock using Matte Gold Hot Foil.
4. Die-cut the foiled sentiment using a die from the Scallop and Stitched Edge Ovals Etched Dies set.
5. Attach the die-cut sentiment to the center of the card background using foam stickers for dimension.
6. Embellish the card with Opal Gems to complete the look.

Heartfelt Sympathy Card

This heartfelt sympathy card combines a serene floral background with a touching foiled message.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Apply Distress Ink in Uncharted Mariner to the Cosmos Backdrop Press Plate and press it onto white cardstock to create the background image.
2. Color in the floral elements of the pressed background using markers.
3. Hot foil the "Heartfelt Sympathy" sentiment from the Copperplate Heartfelt Sympathy onto Indigo Cardstock using Matte Gold Hot Foil.
4. Die-cut the foiled sentiment using a Deckled Rectangle Die.
5. Using foam stickers, add the die-cut sentiment onto the center of the prepared background.
6. Die-cut flower shapes from Tutu, Blush, and Beewax Color Cardstock using the Family & Friends Vignettes Die Set.
7. Arrange and adhere the die-cut flowers around the sentiment to complete the card.
