Bougie Birthday Collection
with you!
Living in a house with 5 boys is so much fun, but I am definitely the only one who likes glitter, sparkles and all the pretty things. Every time my girlfriends and I get together, it’s an excuse to be extra and celebrate in style.
We love to exchange cards, bring our favorite things to share and of course eat fancy cake. This collection was inspired by the good times celebrating with my bougie besties.
Ganache Gateaux is a cake die set inspired by all the drippy cake videos on social media that I love watching late at night. The icing is designed to drip partially down the cake but you can easily create longer drips with the drip die included. Customize the toppers with any color scheme, then add the perfect little extra bougie treat toppers: whipped cream dollops and macarons!
Classy Numbers is just such a fun number die set. This set comes with extra pieces to convert your numbers into candles, but they’re a great basic to use on their own. If your friends don’t like sharing their age, you can send them a “Happy 40ish” card to keep their secret safe... Or send a reminder that 60 is the new 40 with the bonus word dies.
The Birthday Cheers die set is so versatile and to easy to use. This is one of my favorite style fonts to use in my digital projects and I’m so happy to have die cuts with it now. These words are designed to look great on a card or on a layout and include all the celebratory staples.
Fabulous Birthday dies make a great addition to the collection and are sized to work well on both cards and scrapbook layouts. These are all the words my friends and I use when we celebrate each other – playful and fun, just like us! Use them alone or with the dies from The Birthday Cheers set to make card phrases like fabulous birthday or bougie wishes. They also pair with the classy numbers sets to create fun phrases like 40 & fabulous or 30 & flirty.
You can’t be bougie without a little sparkle in your life! The Born to Sparkle Embossing Folder is so much fun to use and looks amazing on the brushed black and brushed white paper for that extra bit of shimmer. It’s beautiful on it’s own, but there’s also a coordinating stencil so you can add color or paste for even more sparkle! The large format of the embossing folder also lends itself to be used on scrapbook pages - one of my favorite ways to add dimension to layouts.
I am so in love with the Bougie Birthday Sentiments BetterPress Plates, and I had a blast coming up with the perfect phrases to go with this collection. Bougie Birthday Sentiments are so much fun to use paired with a cake on a card, or with a photo in a birthday layout. They look so classy on Betterpress paper, but also super fabulous if you foil them with your Glimmer machine.
Having four boys, we give a lot of gift cards for birthday parties! The Treat Yourself Gift Card Holder Die Set is one of my favorite designs… one I’ve been making for years, now even easier as a die. It comes with the cute phrase for you, two panels to use as inserts, not to mention the celebratory accents! The confetti is such a fun element to use on the card front, or paired with the Gateaux Ganache dies set. I like to use the macarons and the ‘Treat Yourself’ sentiment with the confetti for an adorable gift card holder.
